It was that kind of day. I didn't rest enough over the weekend and Monday hit me like a truck. Fourth period was horrible. I lost it. Guess I'll just try to do better tomorrow.
Here is some timely encouragement: My son came home Monday talking about his time resetting the lighting in tech class. He gave us details about the headset, the instructions, and the "thrill" of having to lean out over the edge of the light to change it. As parents we liked Tech class, but honestly never put the focus or expectations on it like his core classes. However we have recently come to appreciate the valuable life lessons and confidence it is building in our son. That hard work has value in itself. That people are watching and it does pay off. That being part of something is often better then having something.
So thank you. Thank you for the good days and thank you even more for the bad ones! As you already expect the net on these kids lives is positive! G
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."

Thanks Ms. Ghezzo! That does help. Alot. Matt is doing great and I love having him in class.
