Not in my own bed...

On the road again. This time we are in Marlborough, New York doing some private lessons and then we are off to Sharon's parent's house for Thanksgiving in Albany. Whoo! The trip thus far has been fine. We bought a bunch of comedy cds for the drive and were entertained on the way by Eddie Izzard and David Cross. Thanks to Ryan for suggesting David Cross! Funny.

Society resorts to law when courtesy fails. Perhaps it's not such a bad idea to step back from the realm of force to the more enlightened domain of respect and consideration...even if it is bogus. Manners are what keep us from killing each other on sight... ideally, that is.

OMG. Stormy, come now. Having a sign that says these things is ridiculous corporate nonsense. First off, the sign made it sound like they have an option to be discourteous and shun people if they wished. Second, would you wear a t-shirt that says "I am helpful to senior citizens and I welcome african americans as friends." No. My point is, whether it's in the interest of courtesy or not, just do it. No sign necessary.
